The Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2025 WAPL Scholarship Program.
This longstanding program supports both WAPL members and their dependents in their pursuit of higher education—with a focus on energy and land-related fields, but open to all areas of study.
Scholarship Opportunities for 2025
WAPL offers four scholarship categories for eligible applicants, each with its own focus and maximum award amount:
- General Area of Study – Maximum of $1,000
- Energy Business (e.g., Geologist, Petroleum Engineer) – Maximum of $2,000
- Professional Land Management – Maximum of $3,000
- University of Wyoming, Professional Land Management – Maximum of $5,000
Application Information
Applicants must be WAPL members or their dependents and must be pursuing post-secondary education at a certified institution. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025. Applications can be mailed to:
